Who are the Youth Farmers?

they're everyday teens, just looking for a summer job. Unfortunately, 2/3 of Washington County teens won't find a summer job this year. We decided that we'd try something different this summer to try and employ as many teens as possible. So, we're Farmers.

The BIG, HUGE, crazy dream? Doing this project, all year round, on our own land.

9/10/10 SUPA FRESH UPDATE: The School District is allowing us to continue using their land! We are now looking ahead to next summer, making plans, building cold frames, selecting seed. Also, Katrin and Mia were asked to co-teach a four week urban farming and nutrition class in the school districts Alternative Ed. program. the SUPA FRESH FARMERS LOVE TTSD!
